Latest SF1028/AT7500 images usb do not load tuners...no tuners listed. Seems drivers or frontends arent being built.
Also have to exit out of initial setup as any video settings set off spinners and reboot..

thanks!

Probably this is caused by unknown symbols in the .ko files. This is a build problem, usually occurring when rebuilding either the kernel or the drivers, without rebuilding the other of the pair.

The occurrence of unknown symbols appears in the log; the kernel module having them is then not loaded (in this case apparently the tuner drivers).

Audioniek.

das problem beginnt, wie audioniek sagt, bereits beim fehler in insmod
kann die kernel modules nicht laden,
ich seh mir den buildprozess an, ob da der richtige eingetragen ist, ...

Hello guys..
after few years of usage a system on flash i was decide to mode to USB mode.
As i can see, there is some build issue .., my SF1028 wont boot to HDMU image .. 609 or 617.
Is there some workaround to fix ko files, or is somebody here, who can post me link to HDMU_16614_E2_at7500_217_git_597 or something bootable and stable ?
I have this build installed in Flash, and works fine.

many thanks guys ..

Do you use the original factory bootloader 6.00? For USB you need a bootloader that is capable of booting an image from USB. For the SF1028 the only option I know of is the bootloader used with Titanit. Warning: bootloader changes are always risky and you may end up with reseller ID puzzles. I would stick to the image in flash; it is faster. The only reason to switch to USB would in my opinion be the ability to use factory firmware in flash and E2/Neutrino from USB.

Audioniek.

Helle,
sorry for mistake. I am able to boot, but latest images crash on Wizard .. , and if i exit on wizard, HDMU do not see a DVB-S2 tuners, so this is issue of incompatible KO files ?
I was run some HDMU image from mid 2017 in internal flash .., it works fine (BL 6). Because there is really no space left on device, i was decide to jump to USB images.
So i was install maxiboot, BP Neutrino and PKT works fine, but ..., it is not my cup of tea ? :). I am just devotee of HDMU. :).

if i exit on wizard, HDMU do not see a DVB-S2 tuners
Test this: Exit on wizard and install a settings-plugin.

Probably still the same problem as flagged in posting #3.

Audioniek.

Because there is really no space left on device, i was decide to jump to USB images.

Remove some or all of the WLAN drivers, They consume a lot of space and it is likely you only need one or none of them.
