DVB-S2 spark 7162

Gibt es irgendwelche Enigma 2 Images für Otto 7162 die auf DVB-S2 Kanälen arbeiten. Ich habe die Tuner-Treiber behoben wurden, aber immer das gleiche Ergebnis tune fehlgeschlagen.

Are there any Enigma 2 Images for spark 7162 the will work on DVB-S2 channels. I have read the tuner drivers have been fixed but always get the same result tune failed.

Hi Macbest thank you for the reply. I have checked all tuner configs and still the same is it mayby just the 28e dvbs2 channels that have the problem.

I can´t test it, possible a another user.

Hmm I haven´t this 28e. Is there a special symrate ?
Try this:
Zap to the dvb-s2 channel, wait a moment and then make a reboot while your box stay at this channel.

Well, not exactly...
I think the driver has another bug, when changing the transponder. ( in the beginning it was a problem on dvb-s2 channels with symrates > 22000 )
There is a lot of mess in the driver code..:(

Try another Test: changing channels on the same transponder if it works. And then changing to another channel to another transponder....

If I go to a channel thats says tune failed then reboot the receiver all channels will work on that transponder but not on another transponder. Correction I make a mistake in typing it will only work on one channel after reboot even if you switch channel on same transponder it says tune failed

can confirm same problem on 28 e hd channels dont come in on a scan have to manual scan then its hit and miss,

Well then its another corner in the driver, what are the technical datas for this channels ? ( FEC, Symrate )
But its impossible for me to search for this Bug without having this sat position...

cuebase, maybe you can find a transponder on 19,2° with this bug, then dboxoldie or somewhere will find a solution.

attached are logs from a scan on both 28 east and 19 east
all hd channels get picked up on 19 and no tune error but on 28 e there are problems

Well the logs are quite big...
@osborne82: can you do the following:
1. switch to a 28e channel which not works, and post this part of the log
2. scan only this transponder which channels not work, and post this log
Perhaps I can try to compare them with quite similar astra channels to find something..

I have found something strange in tuner setup. transponder 12012 V 29500 3/4 28.2e Will show no signal if you try to scan it. if you go to tuner config and set your tuner to 25.5 e you can then scan that transponder and other HD transponders and the HD channels will work but obviously the channels that are scanned on 28.2 then say tuner fail. This is using a fixed dish pointed at 28.2

Well, I made a quick look in the log:
It seems to me that all channels which don´t work have symbol rates with 29500 ?
Can you confirm this ?

I just had a quick look through the bouquet I am using and yes 29500 channels seems to be the problem. Do not no how i missed that before :o

Well I´m looking in the horrible tuner source...
Tell me which version of HDMU / Kernel you are using ( fetch it with: cat /proc/version ) , and if it is debug or no_debug.
Then Í will try to compile it for that, if I have an idea:)

Mhh, there wasn´t a really change.
I activated only some printk´s in the driver for better analysm, thi has only effect while using debug images.
And changed at one corner a greater to lower sign, but this should have only effect at symrates far greater than 30000 ksyms.
Perhaps it works because they use stm24/211 now? ( Before they used stm24/207 )

The RS232 port on backside is not useable for that.
Try an usb <> serial converter as pl2303 or a ftdi compatible device.
activate ftdi or pl2303 driver in the panel and after reboot it is reachable as /dev/ttyUSB0, if it is the first device.

In spark I can use the protocol sssp on rs232

My intention is to activate sssp able to use my external dongle.

Tried 1273 version. Tuner failed on DVB S2 channles on 28.2. In witch image version they are working?
