Moin,
bin grad dabei meine HDD fertig zu machen.
Habe eine 500GB dran hängen habe jetzt eine 500mb Parition erstellt für den SWAP. (Für was dient der SWAP, ist das eine erweiterung des Flashspeichers durch die HDD)
Rest dient als aufnahme Partition.
Dazu habe ich noch eine 4GB Sd karte in der Kathi912.
Eigentlich wollte ich die Picons usw auslagern auf die SD karte.

...das ich mal fragen für was ne 500 MB SWAP für die 912 anlegst....ok für die lahme 910 sind schon 32-64 MB angebracht.

und bei der 913 hab ich überhaupt kenen SWAP angelegt.

ja für was ist dieser überhaupt bekannter meinte mit dem HDMU image un swap läuft sie besser...
hatte vorher nie einen.
habe aber mal 500mb angelegt und 128mb eingestellt im image.

nur wenn ich jetzt über ftp connecte, sehe ich die swapfile im root des ftp was ja der internal wäre.
auf der sdb1 welcher der swap sein soll keine file.

habe schon öfters gelesen das ein swap keinen sinn macht bei der 912.
also was ist es genau!?

Der swap soll den Arbeitspeicher entlasten.

Im Image keinen swap aktivieren!
Da wird sonst eine swapdatei erstellt die brauchst du aber nicht da ja die hdd swap hat.

Benenne mal die swap partition in SWAPPART um.
Wenn die so gelabelt ist wird die partition automatisch eingebunden.

Die Aufnahmepartition bennenst du RECORD......

gut dann label ich die swap nochmal um in SWAPPART!

und da muss ich im HDMU center keine swap datei zulassen!?

kann ich auch die SD karte zum swap machen?
da die 4gb von der karte gerade unangetastet ist, da ich die picons wie früher beim aaf nicht auslagern kann auf die sd, er gibt mir immer nur die möglichkeit es auf record auszulagern mache ich dies installiert er auch alles, greift aber nicht drauf zu.
somit bringen mir die picons auf der HDD recht wenig

Keine swap datei im center.
SD karte kannste auch swappen lassen.

so heute wollte ich die HDD mal wieder zusammen fassen, den swap mist rausmachen.
aber ich scheiter mal wieder ...

sda1 = SD Karte mit 4GB
sdb = HDD mit 500 GB sollte aber auch so erkenntlich sein
