Since a a few build the video quality drastically reduced, is it due to change to diff0 or?

No, video quality was not changed.

SCART, older TV. At 1301 picture super quality, in 1380 the bad. As if less resolution. Spark

We habe changed the player2.ko, because of problems with minitv and Hdmi.
We don't support scart, sorry.
There is no way to have no problems with both systems.
You can change the player2.lo from an older image with same kernel.

Maybe sometime we find a solution, but not yet.

Do you know when it has been changed? In changelog i see a posible change in 1363 but i think it was muck mucnh early.

I've got to use scart on my older TV but I like the HDMU image on my Amiko Alien 2.
Unfortunately, the picture quality with the current versions is very poor.

Where can I find an old compatible player2.ko file so I can swop it? Also which folder is it located in?

Try the search. There should be some Files, it was discussed a few times already...
