Corrupted flash with HDMU in Amiko Alien

I am trying HDMU to some Amiko Alien I recently purchased, so they are the latest hardware release. After flashing and using the box, saving settings, adding some plugins etc which result in flash write operations, flash is becoming corrupted and you can only reflash the box. Spark OS works ok.

Any hint?

Doesn't Amiko provide the kernel patches for their kernel? They should, since it is under GPL.
