Dear All,

I'm really sorry that I cannot write german in a german forum but I don't speak the language at the level I would dare to write.

I just recently bought my Alien 2 triple tuner DVB-T/C (NOT T2) and noticed that it has many limitations I was not prepared (Spark): poor EPG, poor mediaplayer.
I thought enigma2 will be my solution but I immediately met with a situation I cannot solve and it's very basic:
I simply cannot set the DVB-C channels. I'm using purely the DVB-C function and the network functions (connected to Synology NAS)
Can You give me some advice how to search for DVB-C channels?
Also witch images I can use? Only the 7162?

Danke

Yes, use the image from the Spark7162 section.

Danke schön!

It worked with manual channel search.
The image worked for some minutes but after I added my Synology network shares, the reboot stuck at the loading screen.
Maybe I did something wrong.
Here are my next questions:
1. How can I put my channels to the order I would like them to? For example 6 = Minimax/Animax
2. How can I put my channels to the favourites?
3. How exactly I can put my network shares and how can I reach them? Synology NAS, shared folder = Video for example.

Thank You in advance.

Hi, leave the Channel order as it is and use your Favorites to sort the channels as you prefer.

You can add channels to Favorites while you are in Channellist. (OK Button). On Channel press Menu and choose 'add to Bouquet'. if youre done with adding your channels you have to press 'Blue' (while in Channellist), select your Favorites and enable move Mode. (menu -> enable move mode) Or alternatively you can use the webinterface to Order your channels. Just access your Box with a Browser select extras -> bouqueteditor.

Thank You very much, very useful help. It work flawlessy.

Unfortunately now I have a different problem:
I cannot mount my NAS shared folders. (I could properly do it with openAR-P image.
Also I would like to know if there is some plugin in which I can modify the remote control button assignments.

Thanks

Sorry can´t help you with your NAS....

Have a look to the Plugins Section here. There is a Plugin (not on the feed) called MultiQuickButton. After installtion you can easily assign custom Actions to the keys of your remote.
