Probleme mit USB Festplatte

Hallo noch mal habe mal wieder ein problem habe diese Image HDMU_481_E2_spark_209_git_4120_nodebug_nolcd_Flash .zip (http://images.hdmedia-universe.com/spark/HDMU_481_E2_spark_209_git_4120_nodebug_nolcd_Flash .zip) auf meinem Amiko Allien.
Habe probleme mit der Festplatte.
Entweder wird sie nicht erkannt oder ich kann nicht auf ihr aufnehmen.
Auserdem habe ich das Problem das bei dem Plug in Project Valerie den suchpfad zur sync. nicht ändern kann, solbald ich das machen möchte schmiert der Reciver ab (grüner Bildschirm).
Habe das gefühl das der Treiber nicht richtig geladen wird.
Kann mir jemand ein Image empfehlen die das Problem beseitigt ????

Aktives hub habe ich leider nicht aber die festplatte hat ne Stromversorgung.
Klappt bei euch das plug in ???

i am not sure if you mean this .....

you have to label your harddisk... start windows explorer, right mouse on the Disk, properties (eigenschaften) and then you can label the harddisk

thanks, now i can see my movie files. but i can't play them. i open the movie file the mkv movie or avi movie but it don't play.
is there something to do first to play the movie?

What filesystem do you use? NTFS?

yes ntfs.

but now it shows the movie listing but by playing the movie espacially the mkv files it hangs and it don't show the subs in the movie by selecting wiht the yellow button.

i have a nother problem with the extern usb harddisk. i cant change the recordparth to my usb harddisk , i get a reply that i cant select the harddisk because it's not re rightable.

As far as I'm concerned, ntfs drives are mounted as read-only, i.e. you can't record on them. I don't know if there's a command you could use to mount them r/w...but I suspect there's gotta be one, since there was an option to active this in A-Images :D

so i must format the drive to fat32 or is there an option where i can mount it as r/w?

The image is a linux-system; the HDD must be formated in ext2 or ext3! Must labeld as RECORD and must have a folder movie!

Is is still very possible to record on a NTFS-formated HDD. Since ntfs-HDDs are mounted read-only, it is not possible without modifying the mounting-process (at the moment).

thanks i have already a folder movie in and labeled as RECORD. So i must now format with pc to ext 2 or ext.

hi, me again. i dont know what to do wrong. first i have put an folder movies in the usb harddisk en labeld RECORDER but then i format it to ext3. then i want to check it in the pc to put the folder movies in the harddisk but the pc cant find the harddisk now when its format to ext3. so i cant put movies in the harddisk etc. so i format it back to ntfs en put an folder movies on it. i am verry BLOND with techn. settings, therefore so many qeustions.hihi

can anybody helpp me step by step to do it once good?

You have to lern something about Linux and enigma2.

It is almost impossible to help you if we do only the basics of linux and need to teach enigma2. Since we raised no time for it.

to access ext drives in windows you have to install a driver like ext2fsd or similar.

Bringt den Jungen doch nicht völlig durcheinander! Sein Fehler war doch, dass er zuerst seine HDD RECORD genannt hat und einen Ordner movie angelegt hat und dann Formatiert hat! Logischerweise wird die Platte nicht mehr gefunden, da ja Label und Ordner weg waren!

You must first the HDD in ext3 formated, then the HDD labeled in RECORD and then a Folder movie maked! And then do you make a Newstart.
