in AAF_M15000 the problem is fixed, actually it has been fixed quite long time ago, I don't think is needed an ipbox, in general the change of this parameter should providethe 12V on coax towards antenna even there is no polarity for channel selection, normally used for power singnal amplifier.

considering that your HDMU_505 is the same pli version and git verson included between AAF_M15000 and AAF_M16154 I suppose that the fault is introduced in the GUI you're putting on top
I do not remember exactely where AAF team fixed it but it was around M11041, I mean just after this release konfetti fixed see the post 134:

what about the mentioned revision? the problem was fixed just after the AAF M11041, please let me know if I can help more to individuate the problem

just a little additional information, the setup change is correctey as I can see tht the value in /proc/stb/misc/12V_output is correctly changed from off to on.
Than it looks that it is not correctly read by the tuner
