Archiv verlassen und diese Seite im Standarddesign anzeigen : 23.5 transponder fails
one transponder does not work while using the default firmware it works without any problems. Any idea what might cause that and how to fix it? It is on the 23.5 on this transponder: http://en.kingofsat.net/tp.php?tp=1159
The vertical transponders work properly on that satellite. But what I think is so strange is that if I boot to the default firmware it works fine so then the hardware is working fine I suppose.
Any suggestions? When I do a manual scan on the specific transponder it finds nothing at all.
did you try the latest settings from the feed?
which specific settings you mean? I did not see any changes? The only thing I noticed is that I am not able to set the .5 in the frequency. these are the settings I use for a Setup > Service Searching > Manual scan:
Tuner: Tuner B: Tuner1-Sat (DVB-S2)
Type of scan: Single transponder
System: DVB-S2
Satellite: Astra 3A(23.5)
Frequency: 12187 (half not possible????)
Inversion: auto
Symbol rate: 27500
Polarization: horizontal
FEC: 2/3
Modulation: 8PKS
Roll-off: auto
Pilot: auto
Network scan: no
Clear before scan: no
Only free scan: no
The transponder also works without .5 in frequency.
If this do not work try
Frequency: 12188
Frequency: 12188
both 12187 and 12188 give 0 channels when doing the manual search.
any other suggestions?
Try this transponder
12110 H
tp 221

DVB-S2
HD
Conax
Cryptoworks
Irdeto 2
Mediaguard 2
Nagravision 3
Viaccess 4.0
27500-3/4
8PSK
This is also a horizontal tp in Highband.
12110 H
tp 221
This is also a horizontal tp in Highband.
That also seems to fail. It looks like the horizontal band is the problem. But when I switch to the other firmware it plays fine. Can that be a software issue???
Implausible that image is the problem.
But load the image once again down. And flash it again.
What else might fail the scanning of the transponder? I only boot into the other firmware, without changing anything at all and there it plays the channels on the transponder without any problems.
Do all over transponder with vertical polarisation work?
Maybe my question in "No channels found on some transponders of the Astra 3" can help you .
I was not able to fix this yet and just gave it another try. I tried the manual scan with the different roll of and pilot setting combinations but nothing finds any channels. Anyone another suggestion?
No Problem so far

Transponder manual scan 12187, 29900 H, DVB-S Auto FEC, Astra3B(23.5E)
Check your LNB,diseqc Setting and your Position to 23.5E. I use Multytenne dish with 45cm.
thank you. I tried it but it gives me no results:

Is there a way to change sensitivity? I know the signal is not that strong but with spark it plays. I tried another box as well and there it scans and plays.
Is there a good tool for enigma2 to optimize the lnb and dish position?
First of all I Need equipment Details: Dish, numbers of LNB, HDMU Image Version, Receiver model
Knaq. thanks!
The dish was placed by a satellite company. It is 100cm high (don't know the brand) and has 2 lnb's on it. one on 19.2 (8 connectors, 6 connected) and one on 23.5 (4 connectors, connected). I just flashed The Golden Media Triplex boxes yesterday with the HDMU_15234_E2_spark7162_217_git_4182_nodebug_mix_F lash.zip (http://images.hdmedia-universe.com/spark7162/HDMU_15234_E2_spark7162_217_git_4182_nodebug_mix_F lash.zip) image. They are connected to the 23.5 via a Spain SAR 212 F Diseqc to a Chess Edition3 Universal Quad LNB. Need any more info?

Previously I also tried to connect the box directly to the free port on the LNB but that also did not work. I don't think it has influence since other boxes work fine but the dish is located behind some kind of wall so it cannot be seen from outside.
And your disceq settings? Under Setting-search Channel-tuner configuation
I guess disceqc config is the problem....You can also run the disceq tester in settings
I don't think thats it. Then the scan when I connected it directly to the LNB should have worked. I also just tried a scan on the other satellite and that failed as well. Also when starting the image I let hdmu find the satellites that were connected. this is the setting it defined:

you are right that something is not correct though. the test gives me:

what you suggest?

I tried to scan the other transponders with Horizontal polarity but they are all failing. The first Vertical one I tried worked. Any idea what might cause that?
Try to Scan without diseq switch
I just measured the voltage on the inputs and that gave me:
Vertical: 14.55
Horizontal: 21.0
Is that ok?
Yes, normally 14 and 18volts, but without lnb the voltage can be higher.
If horizontal is under 16v and vertical under 12v, it could be critical.
Just for info:
I have no problems with 23.5°E.
My satellites are 19.2°E, 13.0°E, 23.5°E and 9.0°E...
...all run on SH4, MIPS and ARM.

flac
I ended up replacing the 23.5 LNB. Strange that this box (and especially the hdmu image) did not find anything while 2 other boxes did on the other LNB. Looks like the hdmu is more picky or something.
thx all for helping.
