Sorry,but HDMU have for IPBox Receiver only USB Images,not Flashimages.

as giopet said - no flash images because it is just too small...
but the USB images work pretty well - booting is even faster
and you can use the admin tool - the ipboxes are very well supported - if you don't like telnet and friends!

thanks,but i failed to make usb image on my cuberevo250hd which is same as ipbox91hd.i can only fix backup image on usb.please can someone put backup image for me?

a backup image of what? since there is no HDMU flash image no one can create a backup...

OK - where to start? What is your current configuration, with devices are connected to the box (pendrive, ...) and can you start the admin tool?
Admin tool is in English - so therefore you won't have troubles :)

After you provide us some information we'll do the first steps...

flash image is indb9;pendrive is ok &recognized by box &computer 8gb fat 32.
i have no admin tool.pls put the file here so i can download it.i use window8,but i use always lubuntu.with lubuntu i can easily change bootlogos,edit keys &emus,add &delete skins as well as spinners.my other question is;if i format usb to ext2,then add all usb image folders (boot,var,usr,media,etc.....)can this be enough to work the box from this usb image?i hope u got what i meen

Hi, putting the image on the usb partition is not enought, the bootargs have to be adjusted.
This is why I recommend the Admin Tool. Please use the link in my signature - at the end of the first post you find 2 packages - first the Windows version of the tool. Download it and extract it somewhere at you computer.
Second download the dll packages - extract it and put all dll's in the main directory of the tool (where the .exe can be found).
Then start the tool and enter your ip address and username/password of your box and press the connect button.
When this works I will show you how to install an USB image (we are just a few clicks away...)

no internal hard disc.I use 8gb sd mini card with card reader.

OK - start admin tool and connect,
then change to tab "HDD/Images".
There change to: "Manage Partitions" - change number of partitions to whatever you like, filesystem to ext2 and press the green tick (will take some time)
When done change back to "Manage Images", there you should see your new partitions.
Make a right click on the first partition and say: "Install Image" - choose the downloaded archive from here (Image)
If done please make a screenshot an post it

Hi mada - the tool connects via ethernet, just start the tool, enter the IP address of the box, check the password and press connect,
no rs232 and friends needed :)

It is always a good idea to have the box connected to the Internet (more options like plugins, ...)
so maybe you'll think about a small/cheap router

You could also use a crosslink cable and directly connect the box to the PC

OK - if you have a newer computer you dont even need a crosslink cable (please use google to ask what it is)
just use an ethernet cable and connect your pc with the box, then change the ip settings accordingly.
e.g. pc: 192.168.2.2 and your box 192.168.2.3, netmask 255.255.255.0
see in the network settings (monitors in task bar) if the connection could be established

but one step back, you could connect via telnet - so there must already be a connection via LAN...

OK - please buy an crosslink cable - just to be safe...
or by a normal one and a crosslink - is not too expensive

But if you have Internet available in your building - think about a permanent connection of you box, makes the thing much more interestin ;)

However, just shout when you are done, we'll then continue...

hi, as explained earlier - these cables work for modern computers - your PC will detect a direct connected device and makes the crossing of r/w for you...
if you have only one ethernet interface on you computer:
enter the control center, network settings, write down your current settings (to switch back later)
then enter fixed IP (eg 192.168.2.2), netmask 255.255.255.0, thats it
give the box the IP 192.168.2.3, netmask 255.255.255.0, gateway 192.168.2.2
then open a command prompt and try to connect via telnet, if working try the tool!

Attention: if you change your IP settings of you PC you are not longer connected to the Internet, after the connection to the box enter the old values (as I said: write them down)

sorry i failed to connect.1-i have usb modem connected to pc.2-i connected pc and box with rj45 cable.3-went to control pannel and changed settings.4-went to box and tried to activate network,but failed.

network will fail - til the box cannot connect to the Internet.
try the following: command prompt and then ping your box

by the way: RJ45 cable??? you mean an ethernat cable, don't you?

yes,it is for connecting to internet via router.i think i better forget about it.i used ghost to fit hdmu &hyperion backup images on external flash.they r working fine.i like to try this ur image as wellif any day i get a backup from this hdmedia i will be happy to try it.thanks Morly.

So you simple have to enter the IP to the tool and connect it - makes it much more easy...

iam happy to You mr.Morley that i did it this way successfully
1-formatted usb to ext2 using CREATEMINI by WIN7 system
2-switched my pc to linux (i use hybryde fusion os )
3-extracted HDMU11607.tar.gz to USB
that is all!Then i inserted usb to my box and rebooted pressing 5 on remote control.HDMU Enigma worked!This succeeded with me also using pkt hyperion &sifteam images.
I hope many freinds will find this usefull as long as they can work with Linux os
