A Few small issues

Hi Guys,

Thanks again for a great image - really happy with the stability of it :)

But I have a few small issues I'd like to fix -

1. Picons - There are no pictures on my CoolTVGiude.
2. Info bar incorrectly cropped - When I press info, the bottom of the screen is missing - just around 1cm or seems to be missing off the bottom.
3. How can I set up access to the CoolTVGuide with just 1 button press?

Any advise?

1 use picons from feed?
2 turn off overscan on your tv

1 picons were do you have the located? put the in same location as your skins
2 info bar , by saying that you have it set to 720p either change to 1080i or goto hdmu center and goto screen setup and shrink the screen
3 epg press and hold epg the set default to cool tv guide

I don't see any Picons for 28.2e in the feed list?

Paul - Do you mean if I can download the picons from somewhere - I can FTP them over to the box?

Tried 720 and 1080 settings - info bar still same. Can't find any screen set up menu anywhere?

One other thing - I thought I'd seen on a post somewhere - As I'll only ever use 28.2e - is it possible to remove the rest of the satellites from the box?

Not sure what overscan is?

Overscan is a funktion of your TV in the settings for aspect ratio.

Having had a look around the TV settings - I don't see overscan mentioned anywhere?

This funktion must not named overscan, is can also named untouched or no zoom or so.

I've still been unable to locate this setting on my TV - but have this image on my friends Alien 2 box, and he doesn't have this issue so it's defo to do with my TV setup.

Any advise on where I can find UK 28.2e picons? Download server doesn't show 28.2e.

If you're info bar is being cropped you can fix this on the alien box, just press menu and then go to the HDMU centre and you're looking for on screen display (OSD).
