*g*

then download this tool for windows http://www.partitionwizard.com/free-partition-manager.html

Create an ext3 partition for the entire disk and label it "RECORD"

now you are talking English :o,sorry but I will distrub you more.

as I mentioned that I'm running the E2 from USB flash drive, do you mean to to insert another hdd (or USB flash) with ext3 partition or I need to re-partition the current USB drive to fat32(with copying the root&uImage to) and ext3 parition?

please bear with me.

Ok, we're getting closer. I'm sorry, I didn't recognise that you boot from usb.

Then you need three partitions, boot, swap and record. Procedure should be the similar to this post:

Give the google translator a try :-)

sorry but i can't find any bootargs for octagon 1008p, what i need to run the E2 from USB and record in the same USB flash drive...what i did is the following:
1. I'm running E2 HDMU from USB in Octagon 1008pse+.
2. I connected another USb flash to the front port.
3. I created three partitions (vfat-swap, ext3 - mini1, ext3-RECORD)
4. I mount the partitions, copy the image to the ext3-mini1.
5. I unmount the paritions.
6. disconnect the front USB and connect it to the back USB (so i have only one USB connected).
7. reboot ---and with no luck, the box started with octagon fm.
approciate any ideas.

thanks

you Need only two partitions.......

first with fat32 secound with ext4-record
but it is better to use a stick for Image and a hdd for record...
