hello everyone, I'm trying again and again to use the timeshift but to no avail. I set the path and looked at the various options by setting the start after 2 seconds ... but ... how do I turn it on and then turn it off then? someone can explain me? is working on HDMU? I use the old 11482

thanks for the replies.

You don't have to activate anything, you just need a configured movie hdd. Boot the box with the hdd and timeshift has everything needed. Start timeshift by simply pressing the pause button... press play when you want start watching... press stop to end timeshift. You can then choose to save the timeshift as movie...

tune2fs -L RECORD /dev/sdxx

i noticed on some mips images this only works for recordings but not for timeshift. In this case label your partition

tune2fs -L hdd /dev/sdxx
