record on usb hhd on enigma 2 HDMU

hello I installed and formatted a usb 1 gb fat32 partition with ext3 6, I put it on the decoder but when I hit recording tells me that there is no usb stick or hard disk, hard disk drives are partitions in the pen, you have to activate something?
