Someone explain why hdmi cec dont work and its with ps3

Hi

the image is very well for sh4, i like it more sometime

i want to do work the hdmi cec and i have test it with hdmi test plugin but i send command and i dont receive response. Thought when i use ps3 console this is be able to power off tv, swith output channel when power on.I have a old samung tv lcd with anynet

someone tip? Thanks

Do you have cec activated in hdmu center

I have activated it. I dont know if its exists some code depending vendor.

what is your TVs manufacturer?
sorry, didn´t noticed you already say its samsung!

Activate CEC in HDMU Center and also activate anynet on your TV.
Reboot the Box, this should start CEC to work. If not you can to unplug all devices from power and wait a few minutes.

If it is still not working it coulb be that it isn´t compatible.

Might be also that only a subset of available CEC commands is working (and with some TV's even none) for example switching TV on/off when box is switched on/off as a matter of compatibility between the various CEC implementations of all the vendors as suchmich1983 already mentioned. I've had a Panasonic Plasma TV earlier and that was mainly reacting to off command (while PS3 was always working quite nicely related to CEC), with the new Sony TV I have more CEC features working. Concerning configuration: If remeber correctly you can only configure the behavior for standby and deep standby for CEC.
What type of Samsung TV do you have, I recall that bonkel has some model from F series and there it is working, right?
