Hi, I just downloaded and tried the latest HDMU_12961_E2_918gse+_215_git_3261_nodebug_mix_USB .zip (http://images.hdmedia-universe.com/918gse+/HDMU_12961_E2_918gse+_215_git_3261_nodebug_mix_USB .zip)

However, the remote control is not working. Anybody's having the same problem ?

Just a question: does the green LED on the front respond yes or no?

When no: batteries? When yes: image-problem.

the LED is blinking whenever I press the remote. I'm quite sure it's image problem. I have even tried the latest version HDMU_12980_E2_918gse+_215_git_3279_nodebug_mix_USB .zip, but the problem is still there, it's not fixed yet. Please... please fix it, I've been waiting to use this new image for a month.

I can confirm even the latest version HDMU_13076_E2_918gse+_215_git_3294_nodebug_mix_USB .zip (http://images.hdmedia-universe.com/918gse+/HDMU_13076_E2_918gse+_215_git_3294_nodebug_mix_USB .zip) is still having a problem with the remote control and my remote is working fine because when I boot the receiver into the default firmware, it's working smoothly. Am I missing something here ? Why can't I use HDMU firmware ? Any help is highly appreciated.

Last working HDMU for 918gse+ was 1 or 3 september - HDMU_12783_E2_918gse+_215_git_3153_nodebug_mix_USB . After it was several firmwares (about 9 september) with crash on select video input in start wizard, and now almost 2 last months - all new firmwares going with broken remote.

hey guys, but that not a big Problem, use the older versions and everything is fine. no relevant changes for SH4 in the new releases. keep cool, live is short, tv is secondary

at first, you need to check if evremote2 understands RC correctly. In telnet write

evremote2

you sould see keys map in telnet. Now press keys on remote and check what evremote2 returns.

Hi zdzislaw22, the image only arrives at the first screen asking to choose HDMI, scart blah blah and the RC is not working, I can't setup the network therefore I can't do the telnet. Any other way to telnet into the system ?

Anyway, the latest image HDMU_13097_E2_918gse+_215_git_3304_nodebug_mix_USB is back to normal now. The RC is now working again.

At this moment the box get an IP via DHCP, so you can use telnet.
