Kernel 217 is available for Spark for a long time. When will HDMU images start using 217 instead of 215? It's far more stable.

Neutrino FFTeam and Taapat OpenAR-P already use 217.

Thanks.

If I remember, 217 doesn't have any Change who is better than 215.
So we hadn't changed before the Kernel .

Do you read anything in kernelchangelog which you can say that 217 is more stable?

I say it's more stable from my usage. I never experienced the judder problem in images with 217 kernel, unlike the older ones.

With older kernels if for some reason I zap to a channel with low signal the receiver freezes, and I have to turn it off/on.

I think the judder problem doesn't occur in every sti7111 receiver, but it does in my Amiko 8900 (first hardware revision) with old kernels.

kernel version has nothing to do with judder.
