You don't convert anything, your old records works with 217.

IPTV record, I don't know, you have to Test, I think it will be possible in next time.

/dev/sda3 is not Bad, this is the recording part of the HDD. with /dev/sda1 you chance the record path to youre eigma2 part.
i think the hdd is full with 700GB of movies, how big is youre HDD ?

There ja no several Format for every Kernel, it's everytime the same. So you don't need to format the HDD.

there is a problem with mounting your device, but this is not a kernel problem i think.
the most of all tf users, use jfs, you use ext2, this must work, but there is an issue with your box, i donßt know why.

install a new image again without keepsettings

then open telnet:

fdisk -l
blkid
mount

this makes nothing, only the output will help to get it works

download latest mat for windows and the dll pack - put all dlls in the mat root folder where the .exe resides...

mat helps with your box in more than just telnet... so it would be a good starting point if you want to play around with your topf

Der Topf nutzt normalerweise jfs, aber ext2 muss auch gehen, kann das mat in der Version die fstab bearbeiten

da topf: im Disks/MB zur Datei /etc/fstab browsen, Datei anklicken, unten im Fenster edit klicken, fertig (wenn geändert Datei speichern, Kill E2 and Reboot Box, und gut)

Der Topf kann auf jeden Fall mit ext2. Nur ist halt später dann jfs dazu gekommen, das ext2 bei nem Absturz meistens kaputt war und aufwändig geprüft werden musste. Das ging mit jfs wesentlich schneller. Außerdem war jfs um einiges stabiler auf dem Topf.

Normal soll der Topf ext2 können, außer der Support wurde mal rausgeschmissen ? edit: in der kernel config ist ext2 mit drin

Kann auch sein das das filesystem fehlerhaft ist oder es doch einige Töpfe gibt die mit kernel 217 nicht zurecht kommen. Dann sollte man mal kernel 209 bauen.

Aber ein file check der Aufnahme(Record) platte kann nicht schaden.
Das mal in telnet machen.

umount /dev/sda3
fsck.ext2 -y /dev/sda3
Das kann dann ein Moment dauern. Wenn es fertig ist ein reboot des receiver.

Dann würde der Topf gar nicht oder langsam booten wenn es am Kernel liegt.
Ext2 ist ja drin im image, sonst würde autofs nicht gehen.
Da muss einfach nur die fstab angepasst werden, weil aus irgendeinem Grund die record Erkennung nicht drin ist, kann mir auch vorstellen das die wegen des jfs im Topf anders ist als bei allen anderen boxen.

Ich bin grad dabei hab auch den topf mal wieder ausgegraben, musste noch eine HDD einbauen 2,5"

Bei mir läuft alles in Zeitlupe ab der Enigma2 start dauert schon fast 5 Minuten bist der erst assi kommt. Denke Kernel 217 ist auch bei meinem Topf.

edit: hier geht ext2 mit der RECORD Partition, frisch installiert und formatiert

neu installiert, eine Aufnahme (Recordfilesystem ist jetzt ext2) gemacht und anschliessend das selbe Image mit diesen Einstellungen

neu installiert.
Das Record Filesystem ist immer noch ext2 und die Aufnahme lässt sich wiedergeben. Neue Aufnahmen lassen sich machen.
Es scheint also alles mit dem HDMU Image in Ordnung zu sein.
Sasa22 hat doch seine Aufnahmen gesichert, dann kann er ja das HDMU Image mit partition=1 neu installieren und seine Aufnahmen zurückspielen.
Spätesten jetzt merkt man ja, wo das Problem liegt.

if you transfered all your records to an external hdd, i would suggest you install the HDMU image with the following settings:
partition=1
createmini=0
keepsettings=0
keepbootargs=1

usejfs=1
useext2e2=0

usbhdd=0
format=1
update=1

the hdd will completely deleted and formated and the image will be installed. This will last some minutes.

So I tried to install the AAF enigma, and it was a error, he could not make a backup file (no disk, but records ??),
then I
keepsettings = 0 placed on the 1, and AAF enigma now work, backup my movies, then so I'll try install again HDMU
