Morly Help me! MAT doesn't login anymore....

Hi all,

I'm using MAT since this summer and everything went well until yesterday.
The problem is the following: I run the connection but I can't loging my AZBOX HD.
I receive the error: connection timeout!!!!!
I've tryied to connect the box with Filezilla, Dogbox and Maz3.2 and it works correctly.
I login as root psw: openspa
What it could be the problem???

I run openspa 4.0.004 on my AzBox Premium. The box is working regulary.

It's openspa 3.3.1

I've changed the password using telnet but MAT doesn't login. Error is the same.

after some night job I've to say that I can login with MAZ, Filezilla and Putty without problem, telnet or ftp.
If I try with MAT I can't, it's like some service is missing or some permission/command is not working.
Any idea??

many thanks for your test, but what I've reported to you it starts before the connection.

I've tried with putty to logging my azbox in raw mode, it seems that I can't use port23, but I loging correctly via SSH.

already done!!! But it doesn't works.
It seems that port 23 is not respond, using Putty in raw mode I can't login.
I think that I've to upload a new openspa or doing some reset on the actual one.

I don't say that openspa has a bug, but simply that one service or set doesn't work anymore.
I asked your help to find a solution or to be like a beta tester for this issue.

Das pasiert manchal ich kann auch nicht sagen warun, aber probiert mit telnet den komand passwd geb die gewünste password zweimal dan enter und restartet der receiber damit sollte wieder gehen.

I've tried to retype the password and also to reset the azbox, but MAT is still giving the same error.
Any other tips?

Hi Morly,

I just start MAT in order to proced with flashing a new image for example.
But I can't login and install anything, if you look the previous post that is the situation.
MAT can't login the port 23 and can not install the tar.gz file, if so I'm blocked.
I don't know any other way to flash my box.

step by step.
I've installed the first image openspa usign AZUP, then I upgraded the DOM to 1GB and I've installed another image using AZUP, then I've upgraded to MAT and I've installed 4.0, then I've installed 4.0.0004, and everything was fine.
Suddenly one evening when I've tried to connect AZBOX I found this problem, the openspa image I've is without any other plugin or app, just the image and mgdcam. I didin't install any plugin or any other picons or whatever during that time.
Is it more clear?

Sorry to hijack this thread but Morley's Admin tool is not working with OpenATV 5.2. Open ATV 5.1 works fine but 5.2 got a timeout error. I've tried changed timeout to 100 seconds but still get the error. Any ideas? Filezilla, Putty and AZUp works fine.

...ask in openATV forum where the prob is....DCC makes synonymous Probs with 5.2....

...hab jetzt mal testhalber die 1.24.1-r0.30 aus der 5.2 gegen die 1.23.1-r0.29 aus der 4.2 getauscht und MAT geht nun.... auc beim DCC braucht man nicht mehr den "Trick" anwenden...

...weiteres hab ich aber noch nicht probiert...
