Hi all, i have an ipbox 9000HD with last cdk of Duckbox
with two tuner (1) SAT (2) DTT ..and have this problem:
when record from one tuner and switch to see in second tuner,
at this point when stop record, second tuner is not more usable
only restart solve problem.
Others with this problem?
It is known problem?

I have test now without emu active ( in free channel ) ..same problem.

It is a known problem for spark7162. The fix is to replace the pti.ko module. I posted a hacked version for spark7162 that solves the problem, but not sure if it would work on your box.

Thx joeuser, i change 0215 -> 0217 with an hexeditor, with this change pti.ko is loaded
only other module no ( stmdvb ) ..and without no tuners is found :)

Which original pti.ko did you edit? (from where)

you can no older PTI version, simply replace the more, we must then also swap the stmdvb.ko with, as it changes in both gave for CI +.

Your file ( in msg #40 ) is for kernel 215 i change in 217 ..only not work ..thx anyway.

With pti.ko and stmdvb.ko from last PKT Hyperion 5.1 ..is ok.

I was just logging in to suggest that.
But, it does not fully work with the latest hdmu image st7162 (14317). It fixes the problem with the tuners, but trying to playback a recording it fails. (error no demux...)
Have you tried playing back a recording with the replaced pti and stmdvb?

I was using 14217 with just replacing pti.ko and it was fine, I skipped 14258, but I can give it a try later tonight.

Yes, I replaced the original pti and stmdvb modules in 14317 and the problem still exists.

Why HDMU not solve this problem with your image?
Also last online image suffer for this issue.
