Ich möchte da noch mal nachhaken, was die Einrichtung angeht.

Welcher Chip ist im Stick drin - Realtek 81xx, Qualcomm oder was?
Wie sage ich dem Topf, dass jetzt kein LAN-, sondern ein WLAN-Netzwerk besteht? Zwar gibt es einen Treiber für den Stick, der damit funktionieren kann, aber die Netzwerkumgebung weiß davon doch noch nichts.

Die Frage Realtek oder Anderes hat sich gerade erledigt, denn es ist ein Realtek-Treiber, wenn Tante Google nicht irrt. Müssten dann nicht auch andere Realtek-Sticks funktionieren?

u talked of connecting to wifi with your usb adapter and mine is d-link wireless g usb adapter DWL-G 132 how is the configure going to be?

Hey Saayacoolu,

did u tried the six avaiable drivers in -> HDMU Center -> System Control -> Wlan driver*: <-

If one of those driver will work, you'll be able to setup your WIFI settings - WIFI configuration will be visible in Network Configuration. (Menu->Settings->System->Network)

Your DWL-G132 has an Atheros AR5523 chipset - don't know if it works.

To make sure:
after applying a driver you have to restart ur Topfield.

I have a Ralink rt5370sta usb stick. When I connect with LAN cable the WiFi connects fine. When I remove the LAN cable it does not connect?!
My box is sh4 Sti7162 running latest image.
