Hi,

I flashed my Pingu with latest image and there is a issue when restarting box or restarting enigma. Sometime after the restart the TV screen remains black (there is no picture) but sound is OK. Starting TV channel is FTA, so the issue is not due to descrambilng etc.
Log enclosed.

No picture or no live TV?
Do you see bootscreen, infobar...

Check your hdmi cable if nothing is on your screen

I already checked HDMI cable (I replaced him with another one), I changed HDMI input but issue remains.. The TV is on but after the enigma or box restart there is
no channel picture, the channel sound is OK. I can see bootscreen then I can see infobar and I can hear the channel sound but no channel picture. Once I switch to other TV channel the picture suddenly appears.
I have ET8000 (OpenATV 5.2) connected to the same TV and I haven't such issue with it.

Deactivate your bootpicture, I think you can switch this off in hdmu Center.

You can deactivate bootvideo no bootpicture I think.

I think I solve the trouble. I changed tuner configuration. I have single LNB and no DiSEqC switcher. So my configuration was:

Configuration mode: simple
Mode: single
Satellite: 23,5°E
Send DiSEqC: no

I chaned option Send DiSEqC to: yes
And it looks that issue is gone..

Tunerhandling isn't the problem, the Bootvideo have to be on end when tuner will start, if not the device is busy

No, I just want to explain this issue, hdmu start's very fast and so will be this issue if have activated a video.
So don't use a video and you will be have no trouble.

OK, the bootvideo has been never activated! That issue happens when the bootvideo is deactivated! When the box is booting I don't see HDMU boot video! I just se HDMU booting screen (static). Bootvideo is deactivated in HDMU Center / System Control

In rcS is a time when bootpicture will be killed, I think our bootspeed is better then in older images, so we have to increase the time for killing the picture.
If you installed more plugins and have a large channellist, the boottime will also be longer too, and so you have also fixed this issue.

I see. As I already mentioned I solved the issue by the option Send DiSEqC: yes.
Since that time the issue didn't happened.

There is a another issue, this time with channel audio. TV channel remains without the audio (you can't here any sound) sometimes when zapping TV channels.
Move one channel forward and back and audio (sound) is back to life again.

Pls. see enclosed log.

Mpeg stereo.

My setting:
Audio source: PCM
AC3 downmix: yes

P.S. Switching to other audio channel doesn't help (still cannot hear any sound). You have to switch to other TV channel.

It looks that OpenATV image has the same troubles as HDMU.
