Do formate your hdd in ext3, or ext4. NTFS do not work well with Linux, even also with other boxes. And azboxes are very weak.

Athens Istanbul GMT+2 shows 1 hour ahead
Bucharest GMT +2 shows 1 hour ahead
Harare Pretoria GMT +2 swows correctly
Helsinki. Kyiv. Sofia GMT +2 shows 1 hour ahead
Riga. Tallinn. Vilnius GMT +2 shows 1 hour ahead
Jerusalem GMT +2 shows correctly

The Azbox Linux does not contain a lot of zone info files.
Have a look at /usr/share/zoneinfo.
You can fin Jerusalem under Asia (working), but Athens and the other not working towns are missing.
Not sure how those can be added into the image build.

@kapios: can you not just use the timezones instead of the towns?

Presumably you only need GMT timezone (or Athens) to work correctly ? surely you don't need Harare, etc.

after installation ntfs 3g module's i have install kernel openspa 4.004 and the problem with usb disks
continues to exist. appears on the list of storage devices other folders and files not be visited
something is wrong with ntfs 3g module's
at some point the teams that support azbox before 1.5 years if I remember well, made some changes to this well observed the same problem in the last image openspa 5.006 and last openatv
