I tried your fstab. But also did not help. I tried to mount on the UUID also did not work. My image is installed on usb on a partition in ext3. The flash drive has 8 partitions.

Thanks, I will try with other flash drives. The plugin for the front display Atevio7500 is just super!

Congratulation for this excellent work.
The UFS 912 runs nearly perfect, and that for the first public build !!!
I didn't see any problems with the setup and also during my test with the new image.

Amiko SHD 8900 Alien works, but when I tried to change the skin to default it hang, dat pokke ding! Sorry,no log yet. I could also not load any plugins. But that is for stage 2...
But the great thing is, it works and you can watch televison!

It is not as easy as that, because it is not a plugin available as .ipk but is built in as an integral part of the image. The code is contained in a patch vfd_dirvers.patch that you can download or clone from my git.

The only thing I came across while testing is that when the jfs-drive has a damaged structure it will not mount, with the effects you describe. After a fsck /dev/sda1 everything started to work as expected/desired.
