Hello everybody,

It looks like all images suffer from the problem first reported in post #4. If have meanwhile fixed it and will be building new images starting tomorrow.

It is possible to fix it by hand. To achieve this, do the following:

• Download the zip-file below and extract it. You get a file HardwareInfo.py;
• Start the receiver with a serial connection ready. Press Ctrl-C as soon as E2 tries to start. You should be at a command prompt in the serial programme;
• At the end of the rcS output you can see the IP-number assigned;
• Open an ftp-rpgram like FileZilla and connect to the receiver;
• In the directory /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Tools remove the file HardwareInfo.pyo;
• Into the same directory, copy the file HardwareInfo just extracted;
• Restart the receiver. E2 should now run and show the startwizard.

When you use an USB image from a .tar.gz, you can try and remove HardwareInfo.pyo from the archive and replace it with the unpacked file.
