I am not sure what conflict you are referring to. AFAIK all CubeRevo models work fine with the current drivers, so why change something that has been working fine for years?

As the boot loader 6.00 cannot run an image off an USB stick, something has been changed on your receiver. In order to be able to reproduce your problem, I would like to know:
    • What are the current boot arguments?
    • What exactly have you done to convert the tar.gz file provided and put it on the USB stick?

    Regards,

    Audioniek.

The usb has 2 partitions: VFAT that has the uimage (which comes from the boot folder) and mini1 (ext2) that has the rest of th eimage on it. The raptor original FW will format the usb stick into the two partitons with the plugin TGZ-USB-Installer plug-in.

HDMU_11809_E2_at7500_209_git_5570_nodebug_mix_USB. tar.gz is what i have running on the raptor withbootloader 6.00.

Rhanks for taking the time to look at this.

how did you solve the boot problem?

    Hello everybody,

It is my gut feeling that something is slowly going wrong here.

@mountaineer: it still is not clear to me what has been changed in the boot arguments on your HS8200. With unchanged boot arguments loader 6.00 cannot start an USB image.

@ainouna: The problem is about an HS8200 not an HS7429. Flashing a 7.37 bootloader into an HS8200 will brick the receiver. Also, the HS7429 uses a different style of USB image which only requires 1 FAT32 partition on the USB stick. An HS8200 requires a USB stick with at least a FAT32 partition for uImage and an ext2/ext3 formatted partition for rest of the image as mountaineer has written. Also see here (posting #20).

    Regards,

    Audioniek.
