hdmu skins crashing media player

hi can someone help fix the problem with media player
on default skin the media player works and shows the location of my files
but when i change skins and reboot the locations are gone and when i exit i get a pink screen crash
if i dont reboot after changing skin its ok and works normal

Pink screen? You're using a very old Image, please install a new one.

look at the date it was an old image but the more pressing point is when the fix for the juddering channels going to come through on the HDMU image seeing as its now fixed
