Iam not familar with this stbs, so calm down!

Image flashed but some things missing, e.g. opkg, vsftp, webinterface dont work. Some other stuff too i guess. But stb booted and operated.

Installed now HDMU_11949_AzboxHD_OE_851_Flash, work for me. Image has half the size than newer ones.

If youre the azbox expert please explain how to do, and stop spamming :-)

Gerade mal das HDMU_12049_AzboxHD_OE_1218_Flash.zip auf eine azbox hd premium geflasht.

opkg und vsftpd liefen nicht.

root@azboxhd:/# opkg update

Lösung: mkdir /var/lib/opkg/

[R] 500 OOPS: vsftpd: not found: directory given in 'secure_chroot_dir':/var/share/empty
[R] Verbindung fehlgeschlagen

Lösung: opkg install vsftpd

Kann da beim flashen etwas schief gelaufen sein oder liegts am image?

I do spamming?

My friend ... are years that are behind the AZBox's world ... and everything I've learned I sent to the community!

From your statements, users are thinking that the new versions (12047 and 12049) were you able to install them!

Only now I read that you're trying the 11949 version that can be installed by all of us!

First, we are not friends.

Second, i installed the HDMU_12049_AzboxHD_OE_1218_Flash too, but with errors. Try yourself if you dont believe. Choose USB & hit update Kernel/E2, when the error Message appears (near 68%) klick ok and be patient, dont abort, azup will continue. Stb will reboot, be patient again, no bootlogo, nothing in vfd, after a few minutes spinner and after that start assistand will appear.

STB boot and basics are running fine, but as said, its corrupted. Could be fixed manually, but that dont make sense, the fault is somewhere else.

...hab da irgendwo gelesen..finde es aber leider nicht mehr...das es sich danach bzgl. der Bildeinstellungen usw. irgendwie "komisch" verhält..

Nein das 12049 ist nicht ok, azup bricht anscheinend ab bevor es komplett installiert ist. Reicht zum booten, hatte opkg und ftp gefixt, danach dann festgestellt das opkg keine installierten pakete, bzw nur die nach dem fix installieren auflistet. Danach dachte ich mir dann warum das leben schwer machen, ist nicht meine box. Also das 11949 geflasht und eingerichtet.

..meine Frage bezog sich zwar auf das nachträgliche Verhalten eines schon im Flash befindlichen Image ..nachdem auf dem USB-Stick das aktuelle HDMU installiert wurde...aber ist nicht so wichtig...war eher ne theoretische Frage,da ich praktisch da eh nicht mitreden kann...

Im Flash war irgend ein Fremdimage, habe nach dem gebastel nicht wieder darauf zurück gegriffen. Stick rausgezogen und die Kiste ist mit der IP im Display stehen geblieben. dann das HDMU in den Flash gepappt und gut war.

Ein opkg-upgrade unter 11949 führt zu einer box die nicht mehr bootet da die installation von base-files - 3.0.14-r11958 - 3.0.14-r12052 hängen bleibt.

Wer trotzdem ein aktuelles image haben möchte kann mal den befehl per telnet absetzen:

Ist es eigentlich normal das die Umschaltzeiten bei der Box so mies sind?

Was verstehst du unter mies?
Die schnellsten Boxen sind es nicht. Aber direkt als mies würde ich das auch nicht sehen.
