Hmm - and this image has major problem with HDMI output on the Amiko 8900 - once installed everything works as expected until you soft standby - when you come out of soft standby again no HDMI output at all until box is rebooted. Not a handshaking issue in that removing and replacing the HDMI cable doesn't work nor does switching outputs and back again on the AV amp do the trick - which it normally would if it was handshaking.......

So, looks as though the last HDMU image that works on the Alien 8900 is 11789 - although I'm sticking with 11768 now until the issues with the latest images are fixed.

It is always better to use deep standby.

But in the moment, there is often reported about problems with spark images and no output on HDMI, take a look at the posts in the Beta E² area.

Deep standby is not better if you want remote access!

And.... yes images since 11789 have major issues with some boxes (Amiko shd-8900 in my case) and HDMI output. There would seem to be some hardware dependency since 11809 works on my Alien2 - HDMI 1080i, 50hz with no problems..... Here's hoping for a fix in the next release!
