CrossEPG not reading my USB

CrossEPG not reading my USB, BUT when i reboot it's reading usb but the minute i update guide after it's only reading internal flash? my USB is ok on recordings, if any one can help Thanks Ronan.

lol..... GOT IT ftp media/USB/ and re-name usb to USB in caps and all is good.

look for the 3 file fix for cross epg, im sure i posted it before but it is around on a few forums, its a common problem mainly on HDMU

Hello to all
I have the same problem after installing the plugin from feed. I am using the last HDMU for Spark7162 (12053) and after rebooting the plugin didn't see my hdd. Then I did the three files procedure as @RONAN COLLINS suggested and after reboot I got a message error that SystemPlugins/CrossEPG was not avaiable (No module named crossepg_about).
The plugin from feed is crossepg 2.68 305b version.
How can i solve this problem?

Hi m8 CrossEPG try this one and rename your usb to RECORD all caps and then turn off power from box and wait 10s and turn on and it will read HDD/USB STICK Let me know how you get on.

Ok I did the test. The version you pass me is compiled to use python 2.6 instead of python 2.7 wich is the actual version on HDMU firmware.
In this version, like in the previous one posted in this thread the scripts are no working, is always coming an error sript and the log file doesn't show the kind of error (I am assuming is because the scripts are made for older versions).
The version downloaded from feed is made for python 2.7, but anyways it has the same problems with the scripts and doesn't recognize the HDD.

Hi fix for crossepg for those that have problems with it reverting back to internal flash on HDMU with the default crossepg installed

I've attached the 3 files

upload the 3 files on your PC and then FTP them over to the folder /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/CrossEPG, DELETE the existing crossepg_auto.pyo, crossepg_loader.pyo and crossepg_setup.pyo and then restart the box. After the restart if you look back in the above folder you should hopefully see that the .pyo file you deleted have been recreated.

crossepg should now work hopfully

this works for me and have had no problem
i use this on the amiko alien2
this may work on other images
