In all such situations, the issue was broken uboot environment. You should be able to connect through RS-232 and defieit fom scratch.

uboot is broken, you need a jtag Interface. Board search!

Maybe would be good to check the full thread there carefully and hopefully it will give you the right ideas what to do. Real RS-232 (not through usb interface), correct cable & putty. If you have another tuner, first try if all working correctly.
The procedure:
- switch tuner off
- connect all cables
- turn putty on and select your com port and press ok
- new connection window should appear
- turn tuner on.
- you will see uboot starting. You need to stop booting sequence before hung


For HDMU: you need to always add "rm i2s" before restarting tuner. This is missing in your script.
