Außer das im Flash immer noch der alte und neue Eintrag unter media/USB enthalten ist nach USB Neuinstallation.
Dies führt dazu das es Probleme beim USB Imagestart aus dem Flash gibt.

Also: du lädst die das File: "Admin_Tool_v2.2_Mac.zip" aus dem Uploadcenter und entpackst das Ding auf deinem MAC.
Achtung: ist kein Installationspaket - einfach entpacken...

Dann noch grob 2 Dinge:
1) Es müssen nur noch 2 Dinge nachinstalliert werden, qt und libzip (wenn nicht vorhanden).
2) Es muss der Pfad zur BoxSupporter gesetzt werden
Diese Dinge werden >>hier<< super beschrieben (schau dir post 9+10 an)

Hi all,

I have Amiko Alien 8900 HD . I can with Stb Amin Tool version 2.2 on Windows , succesfully flash my image.
But when I want to make a fully backup image. The box restart by step 2.

Please have look at this problem.

is a movie hdd connected to your box?

Only thing which was connected was a USB stick.
Not a movie HDD

that was most propably the problem, please try it with a movie hdd connected.
if this was the reason I'll create a big warning

If yes, I don't have a one. I have tried only with USB datatraveler 16 GB. Backup crashs by step 2 and restart the box. Some times doesn't response and freezes.

you can use any secondary storage...
format it as ext3, use label RECORD and create a folder movie on it.
then reboot box with the device connected

start the AT again, during the connection phase you get a message "toolpath: ..." - which should state: /media/hdd (or something similar - NOT: /tmp)

Thank you . It's working now fine. I did proceed the following steps.

1- start STB AT
2- click Disk/MB
3- Click on Partition editor
4- change the Number of partitions to 1
5- Filesystem wil change from sda1 to ext3
6- Label will be change to RECORD
7- Create a folder movie on it
8- Reboot the box with the device connected
9- Start the AT again
10-Go to welcome tab
11-Click on Fullbackup Flash Image
12-Choose Backup your Box Image
13- The tool will create now a Full Backup in 5 steps.You will get a pop-up on your computer to save
the zip backup on your computer.This can take several minutes to 10 minutes.
