Had it reported from boxes I have updated to kernel 217 that after 30s front screen changes from channel to clock - even in standby!
Some like to have a blank screen in standby but this version always reverts to clock.
I have tried earlier versions of aotom.ko but none work with kernel 217 - fp_control has no effect either.
Option in HDMU Center for setting clock in Standby VFD: off / clock is not conclusive: If set to CLOCK - clock is displayed continuously, if set to OFF clock returns after 30s!

This feature is not controlled in aotom.ko, but in the HDMU image itself. Replacing aotom.ko will not correct the problem.

Thank you for your reply Audioniek - you have confirmed my investigations.
I guess this FEATURE can only be made optional by HDMU so in the meantime its back to kernel 215!
